About the event

Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Festival, with families in the Mandarin Immersion program offered by Redwood City School District. Enjoy mooncakes and lanterns with families from the Mandarin Immersion program. Bring treats or snacks to share with others.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second most important festival in China after Chinese New Year. Chinese people celebrate it by gathering for dinners and lighting paper lanterns. It's a reunion time for families, just like Thanksgiving.
