Mandarin Immersion Virtual Info Session

Did you know? Mandarin is the most popular spoken language in the world with over a billion speakers! The Mandarin Immersion program @ Orion, offered by the Redwood City School District, provides a unique opportunity for students to learn to read, write and speak in Mandarin and English while also receiving a S.T.E.A.M education. The program offers a bilingual library with a Mandarin reading robot, a Mandarin reading coach, Mandarin teacher's aides, an on-site Makery, art lessons and outside education through our garden (coming soon). We also have an on-site Mandarin Montessori preschool called Odyssey for ages 2.5-6 years old, and a Mandarin after school program called PlayThrive that nurtures children's learning through play. We invite you to attend a virtual info session to learn more about the program from our principal, teachers and parents.
